University of Nevada, Las Vegas Expands Use of TMA to Multiple Campus Departments
TULSA, OK, December 26, 2007 – The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Facilities Management Department recently completed the expansion of their existing TMA Enterprise system to the Student Life, Telecommunications and Inventory Control Departments. This makes a total of seven repair centers that are now successfully using the Enterprise application since its initial implementation in March, 2002. TMA Enterprise is the ultimate client/server software solution for organizations that require an open architecture and the most advanced features and functionality available for their Maintenance and Inventory Management needs. Consulting with TMA’s Professional Services Department on implementation and training strategies, Facilities Management was able to scale the application to each of the new departments while preserving database integrity and retaining central administrative control.
Richard Storlie, Director of Administrative Services, stated, "These departments either had no system for tracking their work or were looking for a more efficient alternative to existing methodologies. They saw how we integrated the many features of TMA to function as a central business system that documents all aspects of our work, benchmarks performance, and supports decision-making, all through a one-time data entry process. More importantly, we’re able to show all of our constituents that we’re being good stewards of the assets they’ve entrusted to us."
