Township of Muhlenberg Selects WebTMA as Their CMMS

PRESS RELEASE. TULSA, OK, April 25, 2009 – The Township of Muhlenberg announced today that they selected WebTMA as their maintenance management system, which will be deployed throughout the entire city system.  The new CMMS will provide Muhlenberg with the ability to better manage their physical assets and maintenance operations.

The first phase of the WebTMA deployment will include inventory management and preventive maintenance recording within their Public Works and Parks Departments.  Once that phase is accomplished, the remaining departments will be brought online and an interface to Muhlenberg’s fuel tracking software will be developed.

Mike Koenig, Director of Sales at TMA Systems, stated, “We are proud to be associated with the Township of Muhlenberg. They have a very professional staff that maintains their facilities at the highest levels. We are proud to be part of their team.”

About Township of Muhlenberg (www.muhlenbergtwp.com )

The township we know today as Muhlenberg was originally part of Alsace Township.  In 1851, Muhlenberg Township was formed and named after Henry Augustus Muhlenberg, a member of one of the more prominent and influential families of Berks County.

What once started out as a rural farming community has grown into a thriving residential and commercial township with a population of approximately 16,500.  The area known as Muhlenberg Township is a multi-faceted township that includes manufacturing, retail and commercial businesses, large residential communities, as well as expansive and modern Parks & Recreation facilities.  The local government of the township consists of four main departments: Parks & Recreation, Business, Police and Engineering.  A board of five elected commissioners oversee the various departments, and are responsible for local ordinances and policies that affect and govern the township.
