Project Description:
The Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale and Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix utilize TMA for their clinical engineering needs. The system was first implemented in the Mayo Clinic because of the high demands placed on diagnostic equipment. The system was so effective that, when the hospital opened in the fall of 1998, the system was implemented in the state-of-the-art inpatient medical care hospital facility.
Mayo Clinic is a charitable, not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to provide the best care to every patient every day through integrated clinical practice, education, and research.
The Mayo Clinic Hospital has 208 licensed beds including 172 medical/surgical beds, 20 ICU/CCU beds, 7 rehabilitation beds, and 9 sub-acute beds. The hospital provides inpatient care to support the 65 medical and surgical specialties and programs of Mayo Clinic Scottsdale. Full emergency room services and urgent care are also provided at the hospital.
