WebTMA Matters

When to Expect an Upgrade
In 2006 we have made changes to the scheduled release dates for WebTMA upgrades. Last year WebTMA updates were scheduled once a month. In 2006, we will release them once a quarter. All ASP (TMA hosted) clients will receive their first quarterly release on February 22, 2006. All clients who host their own WebTMA data will be able to access the upgrade through the WebTMA support site one week following each quarterly release date.

WebTMA technical support is available to answer questions and assist with the upgrade process Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 800-228-8765 or by e-mail at support@tmasystems.com.

April 11, 2006 - Overview of Time & Attendance, Calendar and Review
Assignments Windows

This session will explain the various functions available in this useful and often overlooked window. The Time & Attendance function allows you to view an individual technician's time records. The Calendar function provides another way to view scheduled and completed work for a particular day or week. The search can be refined by Repair Center, Shop, Trade, and Technician. If you purchased the Events option, these can also be reviewed. Use Review Assignments to change assignments when technicians call in sick, take vacation time, are called to different tasks, or when schedules change priority. The window operates in two phases: Search and Reassign. This applies to open work orders only.

TMA Tech Tips

Using the Closed Work Order Auto Reply function
When your Repair Center e-mail configuration setting is set to auto reply and the work order is closed, an e-mail will go out stating the work order was completed. This is true even if the "work not done" check box is marked. Also, if the status field on the e-mail configuration window is blank, then a blank e-mail will be sent. To avoid sending blank e-mails, go to Organization>Repair Center, select your repair center, click edit, then go to the e-mail configuration tab and enter your desired text in the status field along with the status shortcut key. Example: Please note the status of request on work order: ^NUMBER^ has changed to: ^STATUS^.
